selamat siang, bali!

It's been almost two weeks since we came back from Hokkaido...time flies, doesn't it? Just as when I was getting chilled from the excitement of the school trip, a great news came into me today!

Today, my parents revealed my family's summer vacation itinerary to me. According to the plan, we are flying down to Bali, Indonesia in August and staying there for a week. This sounds really fresh to me. Why? It's because this trip is going to be our first visit to non-European/American nation and it will also be our first visit to the Southern Hemisphere, crossing the equator. lol

The main objective of this trip also differs from the conventional travels we've done in the past, as our lifestyles changed over the past few years. We used to visit locations in Europe and the United States mainly for sightseeing and shopping, but this time we are supposedly visiting Bali to "do nothing".

Not that I know of how other families are, but I assume that our family is the one of the "most" busiest...sorry for my redundancy, but we are! My father is outside the Tokyo region 24/7, inland or abroad on business trips, my mother is working, housekeeping and doing various social activities, and my sister is on the basketball team of her school, making her play away every weekend. Therefore, my family lack the leisure and leeway we need to continue on.

I am hoping this trip to the southern paradise will give us enough refreshment to my family. I, on the other hand, am going to have to finish an appropriate amount of the theses, both Japanese and English in advance of this...I better start working hard!
