mt. fuji

Mt. Fuji, seen from Zushi Beach today was fascinating...there were some clouds covering the mountaintop from our perspective, but I assume this was the clearest view of Enoshima and Mt. Fuji seen from Zushi. With a windsurfer in this pic, this shows what the place I live is like nicely and simply. My family and I drove to Yuigahama Beach in Kamakura after this photo was taken.

From there, along with Mt. Fuji and Enoshima, we where able to see Oshima on the horizon and Miura Peninsula, Jogashima to the east, which are both not visible from Zushi because of the mountains blocking the view to the east. I've never been able to sight Oshima before too, so it was kind of amazing how clear the air or the sight was today. In fact, Izu Oshima is about 60km away!

After this, we went to Hayama for some driving pleasure;the sight seen from Hayama was also different from Zushi and was fresh to see, even though I live around here for almost 5 and a half years.
