windsurfing

Minor sunburn, major satisfaction.

There was a demonstration of my windsurfing "circle" at Zushi Beach today. 10 students from various faculties of Keio got together for their first windsurfing experience. Unfortunately, strong winds made everything diffucult for us first timers. I'm not going to explain the logics here today but it really was quite difficult, even though I'm not a "pure" first timer. The sail was REALLY heavy. It was my first time going into sea in April, though.

Although our techniques didn't advance as much as I'd hope it would, I think we understood the main principles of windsurfing today from all the battling we had done with the wind. lol

After 5 hours attempting windfurfing, we had a barbeque party on the beach with students from other universities. The food was nothing really delicious, but its mood is what really counts in barbeque parties.

I think I'm gonna join...another experience could help me make my decision.
